Muzhuppilanghadi Beach

This beach is the longest Drive-In Beach in India and is featured among the “Top 6 best beaches for driving in the world” in BBC article for Autos. Even though Goa has many beautiful beaches, it does not have a Drive-in beach. The beach festival is celebrated in April and it is one of the important tourist attractions in the district of Kannur in Kerala. The youth also try many driving stunts in cars like drifting and wheeling in bikes as this is a paradise for driving along the shore. Just 100m from this beach you would find a private island Dharmadam island, which can be reached by walking at times low tide

Payyambalam Beach

Quiet and secluded, this beautiful stretch of sand and surf is the best locale for a relaxed evening. Payyambalam beach is a popular picnic spot for local people and holds much potential for development into a tourist resort. The rest of the lands in Kannur is equally fascinating to explore. Cherai Beach

CHERAI BEACH is a favourite haunt of those who are looking for a relaxing swim with the backdrop of coconut groves and the nearby shacks provide you with fresh cuisine that fills you up perfectly after a delightful swim. This sandy beach is a unique combination of the sea and the backwaters, studded with seashells of various hues and shapes.

Marari Beach

The meaning of word Papanasham is wash away sins. It is believed that a dip in the waters of Papanasham beach washes away all the sins in one's life. Varkala beach is the only place in southern Kerala where cliffs are found adjacent to the Arabian Sea. There are numerous water spouts and spas on the sides of these cliffs. The beach is a haven for sunbathing and swimming and evening views of the sunset are worth lingering over. Kovalam Beach

The beach at Kovalam is famous as the "Paradise of the South." Kovalam is a globally renowned beach With three adjacent crescent beaches. The largest and most popular beach on the island is Lighthouse Beach aptly named after its 30-metre lighthouse which overlooks the Vizhinjam mosque. Visit Samudra Beach for a less crowded beach with plenty of coconut trees and a great view of local fishermen. There are lots of leisure options available including Sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes and catamaran cruising.
